I am no longer working with Blogger or Typead or WordPress.com. I also do not transfer blogs from other platforms to WordPress. However, if you have a self-hosted WordPress blog already set up and would like to inquire about a professional blog design using a premium theme such as Thesis or one of the Genesis Child Themes, feel free to contact me for a quote. I also offer blog critiques and website design consultations, where I will take about an hour to look over your site and make recommendations on how to improve design and functionality.
SELF-HOSTED WORDPRESS BLOGS
Basic WordPress Blog Designs: Starting at $300
If you are looking for a basic blog design with a traditional blog layout, I highly recommend the Thesis theme by Chris Pearson. Thesis is a powerful theme that boasts built-in SEO, quick loading times, and an easy to use interface. Thesis designs are crisp and clean and well suited to all levels of bloggers. This includes installation of the Thesis theme and custom header graphic, and coordination of the colors of the text, links, and solid-colored background. See my Thesis design portfolio.
Magazine Style Blog Designs: Starting at $500
If you are looking for a magazine layout (such as AllThingsChic.net), I offer basic designs using the Lifestyle Theme from the Genesis Framework. This includes installation of the Lifestyle theme and custom header graphic, and coordination of the colors of the text, links, and solid-colored background. All of the packages include a custom header and installation of the theme. If you need plugin installation or google analytics set up, those are add ons. I am happy to hop on the phone to discuss design direction and explain how I work. The cost for a phone consultation is $50, which may be applied towards a DCR Design package. Payment may be made via Paypal.
Advanced WordPress Blog Designs: Starting at $800
