I met Stacey of Mamalaw when we both found ourselves stranded at Blissdom due to a huge snowstorm in the Mid-Atlantic region a few weeks ago. Meeting her was one of the best parts about staying in Nashville for an extra day. It’s hard to believe that we wouldn’t have met otherwise.
When we got home, she contacted me to redesign Mamalaw. She had a new logo, so I worked the design around that. Take a look.

I created the header and button around the logo, and then I color coordinated this subtle patterned background to compliment them. We did a fancy nav bar with coordinating buttons, and then we also did custom sidebar titles. There are new facebook and twitter buttons, and each contributor got a signature. Finally, they got a new Twitter page. I’d say that’s a full blown makeover!
Mel is a longtime blogging buddy of mine, and I was delighted when she asked me to help her with her design. She had the image of chocolate already purchased, but it wasn’t the right dimensions for a header so I worked my magic and came up with this! She also wanted a touch of color that she can change with the seasons. We went with green for St. Patrick’s Day, and we’ll change it up when she’s ready for something new.

She also got a 3rd column, a horizontal nav bar, a blog button and a siggy too. And we personalized the design a bit more with that delectable piece of chocolate beside her blog titles. Finally, I did some custom social networking buttons for her. Check out the rss, twitter, and email icons. These are the newest addition to the blog design services that I offer. She also got a new Twitter page.
Holly won a blog design from We Are THAT Family. She wanted a header that represented their family and found this owl graphic. The only problem? The owl family was a family of 3. So I created 4 more owls so Holly’s header could have a family of 7. Cute, huh?

Janel’s Dandelion Dayz was one of the VERY FIRST blogs I ever designed. So I was THRILLED when, well over a year later, she asked me to do a redesign. We decided upon this dandelion graphic, and I love how we were able to change the look and feel and colors of her blog while sticking with the dandelion theme. Take a peek!

wanted to revamp her design. We thought the idea of the seasons worked perfectly with her title, so she found this graphic and I designed around it!
The Breaks dvdrip Dawn wanted a total redesign — new title, new theme, and everything. She knew red would be part of it. She and I looked long and hard for a graphic that was exactly what she wanted. She finally found a photo and had a friend convert it to an illustration. This is what I did with it.
